I have a 98 scab 4x4 shortbed, I currently have 3" body lift torsion bars cranked some and AAL in the rear running 35x12.50r18 P.C. Ext AT. I have 18x9 Rockstars with 5" backspacing. Right now I have no rubbing what-so-ever. I'm looking to get the BDS 6" with the rear leaf springs. It says that it requires 16x8 with 4.5" backspacing. The questions I have is: Will it rub? How bad? What can I do?

I'm not familar with any backspacing requirements on the BDS or any other lift for the 97-03 F-150's. For sure, wheel diameter will not matter. I'd contact BDS and ask them if there is any reason you can't run a wheel with 9 inches of bs.

 

I did contact them and the guy I spoke to said he said it would be a 50/50 shot. So I thought I'd ask the local wheel specialist on here and thats you! So what do you think?
