Aftermarket Flares rub?

I had to take the stock front flares off of my 2005 Screw FX4 because they rubbed at the bottom rear with the new 20x10 wheels with 33" tires I put on. The wheels stick out a ton so I need aftermarket flares, am I going to have the same rubbing issues as I did with the stock flares? Leaning towards bushwacker pockets.

<wasn't sure this is the correct forum but figure the rubbing experts all hang out here>

If they rubbed using the OEM flares they will probably rub worse with the aftermarket flares.

Hmmm, that was my fear. Any suggestions? I'm not familiar with how aftermarket flares will attach. I could have trimmed the stockers no problem and it would have been fine, so will I be able to trim aftermarket flares? With the stockers the tire was just barely catching the last 1-1/2" of the very end of the flare where it wraps up on top of the other plastic protection piece (inside bottom of fender at rear of fender well). Its hard to explain, but I assume about the only place a flare would rub, its right above the very front of my putco nerf bar.

Thanks Atom! Is it trimmable without causing concern for the integrity of the mounting system?

Nice truck by the way! I definitely need flares with my wheel/tire combo but having a hard time deciding between pocket or extend-a-flare with just a levelling kit. And of course worried about rubbing...

That'd be greatly appreciated. I assume you're a fan of the pocket flares, your truck is lifted, think they will look ok with just a level kit on? They definitely look sweet on lifted trucks.

The difference is he is using an 18x9 inch Eagle wheel with 5 inches of bs. I believe the 20x10 Moto Metals only have 4.5 inches of bs, which is causing his rubbing problems.

we both had to trim the same spot off, the buskwacker flares make a corner on the bottom inside part. my 954's had a 4 5/8" backspace
