Tire Size, wheel back spacing, leveling kit, STD Questions

As with almost everyone else, after I searched I was more confused from the multitude of permutations then before reading.

I think I have decided on the final setup but I need to figure out the detail numbers.

2007 4x4 SCREW

Planning on getting the XD HOSS in 20s

Now here are the questions...

I would like to run a 35" if Possible with just a leveling kit.
Which AS kit is preferred 2", 2.5", 3" - I am assuming the 2"?
The wheel comes in 3 Backspacing 4.53"(offset -12mm), 5.71"(offset 18mm), 6.18" (offset 30mm) No idea which one is correct.

And what tire size should I be looking for? Any suggestions would be great too I have not done all that research since I wanted to know the size first.. (leaning towards a quieter Mud Terrain, or an aggressive AT)..

I believe those are 9 inches wide. If they are, you won't be able to fit 35's with only a leveling kit. I'd go with 33's and the 5.71 inches of backspacing.

Thanks! Yes they are 9" gerr was hoping for 35s I might have to rethink the wheel choice. Was wanting to go as big and wide as I could.

If I stick with those wheels I am looking at the 2" AS level correct with a 33x12.5x20?? or a 305/55/20?

I have 9in wide wheels with 5.71 BS and currently runnin 35's. Have to do some trimming on your front valence and fenderwells. Look at my gallery for pics. No rubbing issues after I trimmed. I have the 2.5 AS

i have a 2.5" leveling kit with 9.5" wide wheels with +18 offset and 35" tires and they fit great.. they rub slightly on the fender flare at full lock while driving in reverse, basically when i back into my driveway

i think you will be fine if you go with +18 offset

Sounds like I will probably have to try it.

I guess I will also get the 2.5" Leveling kit should help out a tiny bit.

Looking at the BF Goodrich Mud Terrain T/A KM2

I guess for the 25 I am looking at 325/60/20 but DAMN $$$$

I wonder if I get somewhere to mount them up and see and if not get the 305/55/20

Thanks.. I ordered the 2.5.. Not sure if I will order wheels online, depends on price difference but I think I will get the tires from Discount / America's Tire this way if there is no way the 35s will fit they will swap them out to 33s without a hassle.

I thought the 18mm offset would be better than the 30 though?

i have had both +30 & +18 offset on my truck with 35's, i like the way the +18 offset fits. they both rubbed a little bit..

the +30 offset rubbed on the control arm at full lock

the +18 offset rubs slightly on the fender flare at full lock and driving reverse, plus they stick out further than the +30 for a more aggressive look
