Help quick: Alignment after new wheels/tires?

My buddy just got new wheels (24") and tires on his truck. He was told he needed an alignment, is this true? We are leaving early tomorrow morning for Panama and he planned on driving. Thanks for the help!

If other stuff was done, like a leveling kit, lift, ball joints, or tie rod ends, then yes it would need an alignment. Just replacing tires and wheels, does not require an alignment, although to protect his investment in tires, it certainly would not hurt.

I get a wheel alignment every time I put a new set of tires on. A combination of a wheel alignment & tire rotations should extend the life of your tires.
