New Wheels & Tires w/ pics

Finally got my new wheels and tires, I went with a set of DC1's (17x9, polished) and a set another set of BFG TA KO's (265/70/17). I also leveled it by cranking the t-bars. Very happy with the purchase.

Looks great.

Make sure to get some wax on those polished DC's. I put some on my kid's jeep, once they start getting dull you have to polish weekly.

Thanks for the comments. It was an ordeal picking out wheels and tires. In the end, I'm happy with the result, as PawPaw put it, simple clean look, my theme for the truck is slightly modified stock.

Looks great! Have you considered removing the decals on the bed? The yellow sort of seems out of place

I have considered replacing the yellow stickers with grey or black, but they are something stupid like $75 each side. I don't like the yellow either but have put up with it so far. Nice, now you got me hating my stickers again....

I almost went with those on my 2000 but in black. I ended up with ProComp's and Firestone M/T's.

Your truck looks Great! I really miss mine. Not that my 2005 isn't nice, I just got my 2000 the way I wanted and got the new truck bug, and now really miss my old one.

Nice Job and nice pics!

TN-F150,

I've looked at your truck many times, that was one really nice truck, looks absolutely mint!!! I luckily have no new truck bug so I'll be hold'in on to mine. I've actually heard alot of guys say they miss their 97-03's. I had one guy at a red light recently tell me I have a nice truck and he misses his 2000, he was rollin in an 07 F150.

Yeah, it's funny. I don't like my new truck like I did my old one. Don't get me wrong, it's nice but my 2000 was just a Great! truck. Thanks, it was far from mint but I loved it anyway. It had 150,000 on the odo and I just went through and replaced all the shocks, brakes and rotors, exhaust with Magnaflow, factory carpet, replaced the front seat foam and new tires and wheels. It was in pretty rough shape in the paint department too, I clayed the whole truck and polished to shine. Maybe that's why I miss it so much, we had a lot of history. If I could do it again, I'd keep it.
