305/55-20 Owners, Spare Tire Question?
For those who have 305/55-20 size tires on their trucks, what size spare do you carry?
I just switched to these recently from my stock 255/70-17's. I still have the 17" spare, and its probably almost 2 inches smaller in diameter compared to whats on there now. Even if I bumped up the 17 to a 285/70 (thats the biggest I can go without rubbing, stock suspension 4X4) I'd still be at least 1/2 inch off. What size tire and rim combo would get me close enough to the new tire size?

I asked this question a while back... from what I remember Most people told me that you would be fine keeping your stock spare tire..
Most people will never end up using their spare. and if you do end up needing it, I believe they said just use your spare on a rear tire. Meaning if you get a flat on front, switch out a rear for the spare and put the rear tire on the front. that way the front tires are the same size. Someone may chime in here, but I think thats what they said.
