Any info on lug nuts...

I have a 2002 supercrew 4x4 with stock 16 " crome rims. I want to up grade to 17" stock crome xlt larriet rims. Does any one know if I need new lug nuts. THANKS

Not positive on this, but I think all the steel wheels use the same lugnuts and all of the aluminum wheels use another. Like I said, I'm not sure on this.

You can use the lugnuts you have now. There were 2 types of lugnuts for these trucks: exposed and non-exposed. You can use the regular black non-exposed lugnuts with any factory wheel. If your wheels use a centercap that snaps over the lugnuts, you have to use this type. The exposed lugnuts are longer with a decorative cap on them. The FX4s, Lightnings, probably some others used these lugnuts, and you can't snap a center cap over them.
