Upgrading Rotors and Pads

My 06 Screw is used exclusively for towing a braked 24Ft. Featherlite. carrying about 6K #'s of load (well within the specs of the F150). The truck has about 25K miles on it now and the brakes feel like they are going to need replacing soon.
Are there any comments on reasonably priced (i.e. not Brembo) upgraded rotors and pads?

First saw these on xtreme4x4 the tv show.....Might be what you are looking for.

They are the EBC YellowStuff described use (Truck, 4x4 and SUV maximum stopping for towing and loads etc.), OR EBC GreenStuff 6000 described as (Truck, 4x4 and SUV modest brake upgrade.)

They offer several rotar choices too, would recommend their Ultimax BlackDash USR Slotted Rotors.

I think on the the combinations above will suit your needs, and not break the bank.

rotorpros, go for the slotted and dimpled rotors and the low dust pads

I got the cross drilled and slotted rotors but they are great, price was excellent as well

My truck isn't used exclusively for towing, but I bought a setup based towing a cargo trailer.

I purchased the EBC GreenStuff 7000 series for the fronts and 6000 series for the rear. The 7000 series has better braking capacity than the 6000, but I could only find it for the fronts. The YellowStuff for the F150 has better braking, but also creates dust, while GreenStuff is considered low or no dust.

I also purchased slotted and drilled StopTech rotors and stainless steel brake lines from Modbargains. As mentioned, the rotors will reduce heat on the rotors and remove dust (therefore increasing stopping power), and the brake lines assist in braking power.

The StopTech rotors are pretty expensive though at about $150 per rotor, so if you're looking for low cost, I would just have your rotors turned to even them out and go with better pads.
