I have an 04 F-150 FX4 with the rotors and calipers that need to be replaced because they were recalled. I have had a shimmy since about 45,000 miles and now at 66,000 and have little front braking. Anyone ever replace their setup with something like what SSBC offers. A 3 piston braking kit. Do you think it is worth it or is it better to order just some brakes from summittracing.com I drive my truck fairly hard and brakes are important. There is so much stop/go traffic now it is annoying and hard to avoid. Just thought I would throw out the idea of a brake kit from ssbrakes.com and see what others have to say. I know its expensive but could save your life or the life of another since ford didn't seem to do a good job with the brake setup. Thanks in advance.

 

I had Baer brakes on my car. Best money I ever spent. Maybe down the road Ill splurge and put big brakes on the F150.

Ive heard excellent things about SSBC and Baer kits. If youve got the money to spend, buy them.
