Thanks! I think it keeps a great look for the truck without being too high and still fits in the garage too

And nope no rubbing at all. Lock to lock everyday and never a sound.

Mine are 35x12.50x17 ProComp Extreme MT's with only a 2" AS leveling kit. ProComp 17x9" wheels. Sorry I don't know the offset. The previous owner just sold me the wheels with the truck and I put the tires on later.

Thanks for posting this!

I have a set of Pro Comp 1089 17x9s, with the same 4.75" offset you have... And I have the Autospring 2.5"...

Just got the 35x12.50/17s on. I went in to get the Bighorns put on, and the wholesaler shipped Buckshots. I did not want buckshots on my truck. (Don't really like the look, wanted beefier side biters...) they had a set of Hercules Trail Digger MTs in stock. They are on the truck. The rubbing is minor. I need to trim the front valance. Nothing on the back at all.. I have clearance back there...

Time to take the dremel to the valance, clean her up, and snap some pics.

The 35 meats look sweet...

Mind you, I have no idea if fittment between '04 and '09 changed much. The change in trucks was less major than from '03 to '04...

It's dry out, I need to mow, edge and weedeat before I even look at washing the pickup... THEN I wash, trim, and do some rim polish...

My wife has insisted that I put some $$ into cleaning the truck up and making it look new again...

She got mad because the bed rails are fading...

I think it should work on an 09. They are close enough. I am running an 08 leveling kit. I am actually working on 18x9s with 6" of backspacing and 25mm offset. There is a guy running 20x8.5s with 6.5" bs and 35s. I am not worried about doing any trimming. Good luck on the yard work.

How much clearance do you have between your tires and upper control arm? I measured about 1.25" with the stock 18s.

Look up BlackoutFX4 same setup. 2 1/2 in leveling kit would give a nut hair more room but not much.

@ Misplacedtexan8

Where are you located now? I'm going out on a limb and guess that you're no longer in Texas...

The new shoes are on... Here's the pics.

Okay, for those that know my from here, yeah, I finally got my MTs. I had to wear out a set of BFG All terrains to get here, but I am happy with the results.

The setup.
'04 XLT 4x4
Auto Spring 2.5" leveling kit.
Pro Comp 1089 17x9 rims
Hercules Trail Digger MT 35x12.50/17

They are certainly stuffed, but that is okay, big tire with lowish overall step in height was critical. My wife is 5" tall and we are trying to grow our family. You want a 5' pregnant woman trying to climb up into a 6" plus lifted truck on 35s? I don't...

Anyway, a little trimming, and honestly, some whacking at the corner of the inside rear of the front wheel wells provide ample clearance for the tires. (3lb body hammer used in the supervision of a professional body man to get this done).

As you can see from the pics, I am now in desparate need of flares.

I am considering going with a 4" lift, but I really want to keep height low. I have some more "adjusting" to do to make sure that I don't rub at radical angles.

If I could go back in time, I would have gotten my rims 8" instead of 9". That would have given me plenty fo space to work with... I don't know about the factory 18 or 20" rims, but I know the guys running 35s on factory 17s are going to wear the crown of the tire too fast, and never have full traction from the tires, which is why why we want big meat in the first place right?

Anyway, there's the pics..
