Tire Suggestions for a Fabtech?

Hey yall I am getting a 6" Fabtech and 4" block and aal installed on my 2005 2wd soon and have decided that I may just spring for 35" tires right away rather than roll around on 32"s for a few months. What would yall suggest? I was looking at the Toyo MT's because I have been pleased with my Toyo AT's. Also what is the widest 35" tire I can fit on my truck? Yes I tried the search feature it annoys me when people don't too but I honestly did. So if yall could give me some size and possibly tire recommendations it would be great, maybe even a site where I can find them for cheap to get a shop to beat that price?

(If anyone is interested in some 285/60/18s almost new Toyo A/t's let me know.)

Thanks Yall,
-Barrett

Yeah I was pretty confident they would fit, however the parents worry so today when I was at work my mom traded cars with me and drove it up to the shop thats going to lift it just to clarify. They will work, and then showed her a 35" tire.

Thats the size I was thinking about getting, just need a good price. Found them for $305 each so far.

Edit: Well my mom just walked in and said the guy at the shop told her my wheels may be too small? He said they make different width rockstars for lifted trucks? I laughed and said he was just trying to sell me on another set of wheels but is he possibly correct? I think the reason he said that is because he was talking to a blonde though.

As long as you have 4.5" backspacing they will work just fine.

I have the ProComp lift on my truck with 17" Moto 951s and they fit great.

You may be able to get a 13.5" wide tire on there but it really comes down to the backspacing of the wheel. I would stick with the 12.5" width though.

As far as tires those Toyos are nice. I had the ATs and loved how they handled but couldnt bring myself to pay for the MTs. Also I have a buddy who is running the Toyo MTs and he is going to go with ProComp tires when those wear through...

I am using the Hankook DynaPro MT in a 35" size for my 17" wheels and love em. Great reviews on the tire as all around, street, dirt, mud, snow handling and long lasting tread wear. You can get them for about 230 each for a 17" wheel or about 270 for an 18" wheel.

well, a 35x12.50 tire generally needs to be mounted on a rim that is 9-10'' wide...

Not trying to sell anyone on the tires I got... Just mentioning them as a consideration. Take a look at the Petersens 4 Wheel & Off Road Mud Tire Test.

The Hercules Trail Digger MT scored quite well. Actually the only tire they seemed to really hate was the Pit Bull Maddog... But the Hercs seemed to be their favorite of the tires reviewed...

I know I am getting LOTS of looks at work now. A Jeep driving woman walked into another car checking out my truck yesterday, the only recent change was the tires... It certainly has nothing to do with my ugly mug...

Dbhost, do you know how much those were per tire?

I also just started looking into Nitto Mud Grapplers, anyone have thoughts on those?

I want to look into finding an aggressive looking tire for hopefully something less than the Toyo Mt's, am I wasting my time with this search or does anyone have a recommendation? If not, I plan on having the shop order the lift, and toyos Thursday.

Thanks yall
