Wheels and tire combo
I am getting ready to order this wheel and tire combo online I have a 2005 F150 4x4 stock ride height. I have been wanting to upgrade the wheels and tire for quite some time now. Here is the combo i am going to go with
Wheels-Motometal Series MO951 Wheel,17x9, 6 on 135 Bolt Pattern,Backspace 4.53 in
Tires- Nitto Terra Grappler NTGAT -LT295/70R17 Overall Diameter = 33.19 inches
I have been doing the research for a few weeks now pricing, trying to figure out if its going to fit on the truck and not rub and make sure that I am going to have enough clearance. I am a little nervous on dropping 1500 bucks on wheels and tires and them getting here and it not fitting right... So I am curious if this will work or if anyone else has any suggestions. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!

The wheels are going to stick out pretty far for a truck without a leveling kit. I have a 2" AS lift and here is a picture of my 18x9s with 5" of BS. I have the 33x12.5 Toyo MTs, so a 295 is a little narrower tire and the AT will have a less aggressive tread.
Before I trimmed the plastic, they rubbed on the outside edge of the driver side valence when I went in reverse. Yours will stick out a 1/2" further and without a lift will probably rub in the same place.
