Fitting 35x12.50's on stock 05 F150??

A guy here at work found a set of 35x12.50x18's for sale and had asked about whether or not they would fit on his truck. He's got a stock 2005, 4x4 F-150. If I could take a guess, I would say they would rub when turning, but I'm not so sure they would rub the top control arm. And I'm not sure these tires would even fit in the wheelwell?? What are y'alls thoughts? Any feedback would be appreciated.

He would require at the very least, a 2.5" leveling kit. And depending on the particular tires they might rub the control arm if they are knobby enough on the sidewalls like Mud Grapplers or something similar...

Chances are excellent he will be able to fit nearly an 35x12.50 on stock rims with a leveling kit though.

I agree. It depends on what wheels he is gonna use. If he has the OEM wheels and adds a leveling kit he can fit 35x12.50's with just minor rubbing on the control arms at full steering lock.

I am running 305/55R20 with a 2" AS on a 4x4 with stock wheels and I rub, and its not slight anymore. I rub on both upper and lower control arms and the sway bars. I cannot stand it. I dont see how in the world 35x12.50s would fit at all.......

I have an 05' F150 S-CREW with a level kit and I'm running 35 x 12.50/18 BFG MT KM2's on my factory 18" wheels. Fits fine... I have only minor rubbing at full steering lock...
