I have a 04 f150 xlt x-cab 4x4 with 4.6. The truck came stock with 235-75-16's. I want to put 285-75-16s.will they fit my stock rims. This is the old body style. The rims are the tear drop style 16's

How about a picture, I cant think of what rim that is. If not a picture do you know how wide they are. A little more info would be good.

I am not positive but i think they are 7 or 7.5

If they are 7 or 7.5 wide they will fit. Those are close to a 33x11.50, should look good.

 

All the info i looked at says they are 16x7. Any recomendations. Iam looking at the 285-75-16 kumho road venture m/t kl71. A friend of mine has 265-75-16 kumhos and loves them they are real quiet on the road but WILL throw alot of mud.

 

You should be fine with the 285/75/16 on a 7 inch rim, I would not go larger though. If you are worried go with the 265/75 to be on the safe side.
