Please help me understand this...

So with the new 6" Procomp stage II on order I'm looking to getting some new wheels as I've read stock 18s wont work with this kit!

I have pretty much made up my mind on the American Racing ATX PUNISHER BLACK CHROME PVD (Series AX1809)

Looking at thier website I get this information:

Offset: 0
Backside: 5

Procomp says this kits allows rims with up to 5” backspacing. Is that what the Backside of 5 is?

Procomp also recommends a wheel width no larger than 8.... does anyone know if a 9" wide wheel will work? The listed wheel only comes in 9.

heres is a picture of the wheel in question:

Thanks in advance for any info regarding this matter!

Cheers

THose are sweet!! THey should fit fine. A 9 inch wide wheel with 5 inches of backspacing is probably the most common spec for off raod style wheels for the 04-08's.

Thanks Wandell!

I fell in love with these the moment I laid eyes on them at one of the local Les Schwabs!

I was certian they'd fit, but needed confirmation before I make my purchase!

I don't see why a 9" wouldn't with a 5" back space. I have an 11" wide wheel. With only the Satge I Procomp I had to trim the front vallance and Bottom of the Fender Flare on my front fenders.
