Wheel Help

So I placed an order for some Helo Maxx 6 wheels and I just found out today that Helo discontinued the size I had on order. The size I ordered was 18x9 with 4.5" BS and -12mm offset. Now they do have the 18x9 with 5.39 BS and +10mm offset. Would these rims be ok with a 305/65x18 Toyo MT tire? or would I have to go narrower, or even find a different rim? Thanks in advance.

How much lift do you have? If you have a 3 inch body lift or full suspension lift you can clear 305/65-18's (34x12.50) easily with the 18x9's with 4.5 inches of bs. I'm not sure how well the version with 5.39 inches of bs will work. I've never seen an off roaad style wheel for the 97-03's with more than 5 inches of bs.

I only have the torsion bars cranked to level it out. No lift other than that.

It will be a tight fit. Maybe the version with 5.39 will be better.

Wandell, I know you said you weren't familiar with the 5.39" BS wheels, but do you think these wheels with a narrower tire like 285/65x18 would fit ok? Thanks in advance.

That would be a much better choice. That is basically a 33x11.50 tire so it will be about and inch shorter and an inch narrower than the 305/65-18 (34x12.50). With 33's, I'd go with the 18x9 inch wheel with 4.5 inches of bs. You may have to trim a little plastick off the front bumper's lower valance.
