New Wheels

I have decided on the wheels that I want to get. I am getting the Moto Metal MO951 18x9 with 18 offset. I guess my question is, will this work in addition to a 4" inch lift, I don't want to go to a 6". Just personal preference I guess. But if I decided to go up to a 6" will these wheels still work?

Well I believe that rim has 5.71 backspacing. And on the procomp 6 lift' you have to have a wheel with 5" or less of backspacing, or atleast that's whats recommended. So I doubt it on that.

As far as the 4" lift, I assume you are talking about the rancho. I know you can use your stock rims with the rancho, but I don't know what the backspacing has to be if you change. I would think anything less thats stock or less. But Ill let someone else answer that one.

And also, if you don't go with the 6" lift....you will wish you did a few months down the road, if it takes that long.

Confused ????

Ok, I ended up changing what I wanted to do after I saw the final price tag. I got the Moto Metal 18x9, but got it with a -12 offset. I want to go with a 33" tire, but I am confused about the sizing. I don't want 35's because of what all it will affect on my truck. I have 3.73 gears and an SCT programmer, and will get everything adjusted once I put the tires on. I also got a 2.5" AS leveling kit and a 3" Readylift Rear Kit.

The tires I am looking at are:
1. Toyo Open Country A/T
2. Nitto Terra Grappler
3. BFG KM2
4. BFG All Terrain

I will do more driving on the road than offroad, so I want to get tires that will get a decent life on the road. Also prefer them to be quiet (considering what I am getting).

Thanks for the help

All are excellent choices. The all terrians will be quieter than the MT's.

I have also been reading about the Kumho Road Venture MT KL71 anybody have any experience with them or any comments about them. From what I have found they seem to be a good tire. Would 33X12.5R18 fit with my configuration?

They seem to be getting great reviews. And yes, they will fit easily with a 4 inch lift.

I had those on my last truck, was an '03 Tahoe with a 6" Lift, those wheels look amazing with some nice tires!
