I have a question for all you ford lovers I really want to know what is the biggest tire you can put on a stock f150 year of 1999.

And if you could direct me to a specific tire and I'm also looking for 17x9 rims to go with the tires.

 

If it's a 4x4, you can fit a 285/70-17 (33x11.50) or a 305/65-17 (33x12.50) using a 17x9 inch wheel with 4.5 or 5 inches of backspacing. Do you want a MT or AT?

 

LIke i said i know what i want for rims I just don't know what i want for tires but I want MT I was also looking a the new goodyear duratrac's what do you think about them tires.

 

I havn't read any reviews on them. The MTR's always got good reviews. Other good choices would be the BFG MT KM, Toyo MT, Pro Comp MT, Mickey Thompson MTZ, **** Cepek Mud Country, Hankook MT or Kuhmo MT.

 

275/70 16 is the biggest recommended on the stock 16" wheels unlifted. On a 9" wheels just try to stay at or under 33"
