how often should you rotate this tire. how different is rotating directional tires

I'd rotate them every oil change. All you can do is rotate the front to the rear (and vise versa) while keeping them on the same side.

Another tip I use with directional tires is when the tire is about 50% through its life, I have them turned around on the wheel. That puts the inside to the outside and keeps proper direction.
