are 1.5" wheel spacer/adapters good or bad?

Does anyone have opinions of using 1.5" wheel spacer/adapters on a 2005 f150 FX4. Any information good or bad would be very helpful.
Thanks

They are generally a bad idea. Especially on trucks prone to vibration issues like the 04-08 F-150's.

bad. avoid using any type of spacer if possible

on some setups its neccessary to use wheel spacers, but its rare. Theres TONS of wheel choices for the 6x135 id just get wider wheels or less backspaced wheels

You wouldn't be able to see anything from pics...all they do is eliminate rubbing from wheels that are improperly matched to the vehicle.

many places wont even touch your vehicle if you have spacers... "Liability" fyi... was having a convo with my friend who works at discount tire about it.
