so im thinking of getting some new tires sometime soon but have no idea whats all out there, a little about the truck its a 4.6 2wd so id like to have something somewhat lightweight (so it dont bog the 4.6 down) but does have a bit of a grip (to help the 2wd all it can)

right now i got the maxxis buckshots on it going with the theory that thick mudders would simply last longer since thats more tire for the road to eat up... but not the case

I'd suggest a quality all terrian tire like the BFG AT KO, Nitto Terra Grappler, Toyo AT, Pro Comp Xtreme AT, Mickey THompson ATZ or **** Cepek FC II.

 

thanks, ill surely look into these...... i know this tire question is kinda noobish but all there is is like 2 tire places where i live and they sell the same crap you can find for stockers
