Black rims on Sterling gray

Well I ordered a sterling gray 09 xlt and its supposed to be completed in a couple of weeks. I want to put some rims on it when it shows up. Original plans were to get 20" Ultra Titans in the black style with chrome spokes. However my local dealer says Ultra is not continuing to make the black titans. They say that you can still get the chrome ones but not the black ones.

So I guess I got to start the whole process over again. That was one of the main reasons to trade my 99 in was so I could get these rims.

So I am open for suggestions on which rim to get now. I think I still want to go with a black wheel with some chrome on them - preferably on the spokes, but post up what I should go with.

Heres a generic pic of the truck and the original wheels I wanted.

Personally, I like a lot of the KMC, Pro Comp, Eagle Alloy and Moto Metal wheels.

I did see the Eagle 079 that looks like it might work. the most similar one I've found so far. Originally I was thinking the moto metal 951 but then saw the titan and liked the look of having a little more chrome.

Heres the eagle 079.

I think I found the ones I am going to go with now. BMF Novakane 6. They look pretty sharp. I found them for 315 a wheel with free shipping. A little higher than some others but I think they are worth it.

Ultra still has them on their stock listing. My company has wiped them out of alot of stock and they have stuff incoming on boats. I will call ultra later today and see what they say. They are only available in 20's and 22's. They are still in my 2009 wheel catalog so I dont know why they would be discontinued.

Check out the Gear Alloy 713MB. They look about like the Ultras you liked, and are about half the price of BMF wheels. I know those are available

Called for a quote on the BMF with nitto Terra grapplers 285/55/20.

$2650 shipped ready to install with no TPMS sensors.

The wheels were 325 a piece and tires 260 a piece

The specs on the Novakane wheels are 0 offset with 4 1/2 Back spacing. They said that they will stick out about an inch farther than stock. Is this correct? I will have 285/55/20 tires to go with them.

i have +18 offset and they stick out about 3/4"

0 offset are going to stick out a lot, but will look good. you may need to lift the front end though.. im not too sure what the '09's can fit

Well I ordered the BMF Novakanes today with a Nitto Terra Grappler 285/55/20. $298 for each wheel and $265 for each tire with mounting, balancing and swapping the TPMS sensors from the stock wheels to these. Now I just have to wait for them to come in and wait for my new truck to show up.

Nice, make the dealership mount them and put them on the new truck since your buying the truck from them. and TAKE YOUR STOCKS! Even if you never use them you can sell em and get a good portion of what you just spent back.
