20x9 XD Monster with Toyo 33x12.5x20 MT (56K No)

Well today I got my wheels/tires from the east coast. I started the day by taking off my running boards, sanding them, priming them then spraying them black. Next I jacked up the truck, took the front wheels off....well one of them.

Turns out when I had the brakes done at Ford a genious decided it would be a great idea to torque one of my lugs on the driver side front to around 250-280 ft lbs. Lets just say I couldnt get it to budge and had to give in and take the truck to Les Schwab to have them use air tools on it. They even had a hard time getting it off but finally were successful.

I was planning on painting the brake calipers red today but it will have to wait. Ran out of time so don't mind the rusted brake calipers on the slotted rotors

Specs on the wheels:
20x9 XD Monsters with 33x12.5x20 Toyo Open Country MT's

Hope you enjoy

Painted my running boards:
Wet sanded with 400 grit then used Krylon Primer and 2 coats of Krylon Satin Black: Have to wait and see how they hold up to foot traffic.

Those things look great! I am sure that if I keep this ole truck that will be my next set of tires!

Do you have any rubbing. I would like to mount those on my wheels they are 8.5 and I worry about rubbing issues. I then though about mounting a slim 1in spacer on the wheels to give them more of a POP. Time will tell for now you got a nice setup!

2" AS leveling kit on the front, no rubbing at all and no cutting with these.

I was looking at the Rockstars in 20x8.5 but did not like how far the center cap stuckout...loooked like a chariot rolling down the road from the rear and I just couldnt get over that, really liked the wheels though. The specs are similar to stock on the Monsters for BS and Offset. They are 5.71" BS with a +18MM offset. Stick out just the right amount and leave about 1.5-2" of clearance when at full lock from rubbing

Looks sweet!! The truck looks awesome but I think with a few changes it would be one of the best on this site for a leveled truck. IMO you should lose the chrome handles, mirror covers, and the bug shield. Aside from that I would change the FX4 decal out for one that is matte black to match the wheels. Those few things would really change the look of your truck. Like I said though..... it looks great now!

Looks good, but IMO the handles and mirrors would look better painted. Also the bull bar needs to be black.
