talked to local truck place today..

And they said not only for me to come in, but they said the American Racing wheels had a lot of offset and I might not like, but all I can find on them is 30, I can't imagine it being -30, It'd have to be +30 and isn't +30 about stock? Anyone know why he might say that?

Is your truck leveled or lifted any? The lowest offset I've seen is -25 so i'm pretty sure he's talking about +30. Thats usually an offset for a lowered or rear leveled out trucks. They will stick in the fender well. On leveled trucks some wheels look ok, but on lifted trucks a +30 won't fit; it'll rub probably.

BLACKOUT FX4 has 22x9.5 XD Monsters with a +18 offset. +30 may stick in way to much for look purposes. I have a feeling that if you're putting a wide tire that it will rub on the knuckle or control arm with a +30. What width tire are you going with?

I'm no expert, but i believe on a +30 that tire will rub. Send BLACKOUT FX4 a msg asking him how much room he has with the +18 offset. He's running 325/50r22 =35" tire, but it'a around a 12.5" tire. The factory tires are not anywhere close to being that wide.

+30 is going to sit stock, well just a hair out of the stock fenders. For leveled and 32's that wide your going to want something more medium. Id say +20 to 25 to get the semi
4x4 look your going to want.

If your set on the wheels you want, keep the +30 and run a 2756020 nitto grapler or something. Its 33tall 11 wide.

So it'd look low riderish if it was that wide?

No. Lowriders these days are all tucked inside the fenders.
You have a truck that calls for a +30-35 hpo offset to sit like stock. Anything lower then that ( +25 to -25 ) makes the wheels stick out. The taller and wider tire you go with, the wider the rim and further away from the inside suspension of truck the wheel has to be.

You have a leveling kit, thus you can run a taller tire. Do you want them to stick out also like a 4x4 mud truck, or look stock with a tall tire under it.

I agree. the +30 probably won't look right if he's wanting the 4x4 look. A lower offset will look better since it'll give the truck a wider stance. IMO 0 is the highest i'd go, but +18 will probably look ok with a leveling kit. There's a local guy who has the same exact truck as me, but running 20" eagle alloy wheels with around +30 offset with 33" Toyo MT's and it doesn't look good. The tire stick in the fender to much.

I want em to stick out a little bit from the fender, well at least the tire? Not necessarily the wheel.

Wouldn't the tire still stick out of the fender and give it an aggressive look?

What are the chances they would fit without a leveling kit? Not permanently but for a little while?

+25 doesnt look bad if its the right wheel. AR makes some that look good with a high positive offset. Check out my '06 in my album. It had 17x8 with 5.5 BS and +25 offset. TIres were 315/70/17s. As a matter of fact, I am waiting on some backordered ARs to ditch the Procomps I screwed up and put on my 09. Without enough backspace and offset I could only get 305/65/18s under it. IMO a taller tire closer in looks better than a short tire sticking too far out. That makes the truck look squatty therefore lower. IMO..

Sweet man that's awesome! You think I could fit those wheels and tires up front w/o a leveling kit?
