which would be the better street tire in a 315/75/16. The bfg AT KO or the pro comp AT.

 

The Pro Comp AT has always recieved mixed reviews. The Pro Comp Xtreme AT would be a much better choice and more evenly matched to the BFG. THey are both excellent tires but the BFG AT KO will probably last longer on the street. You can easily get 60,000 miles out of the AT KO while I believe the Pro Comp Xtreme AT has a 40,000 thread wear warranty. Not sure how many miles they will actually last however.

 

I had Procomps on my last rims and right now I'm running the BFG's. I agree that Procomps have gotten some mixed reviews but mine were great. Never had a problem with them and was able to get the Buy 3 get 1 free deal. That said, my BFG's are holding up nice as well and I have no complaints.

I would purchase both again. Check around for discounts and availability, in my opinion you can't go wrong with either one.
