wheels with lift help!!

So I have the 6" rough counrty lift. My truck is an 04 f150(new body style) and I have the rockstar wheels in 20x8.5 and toyo mt 35x1250x20 tires. I thought I ordered the 20x10 wheels but something happened along the way and these are the wheels I got. I called the 4 wheel drive shop that is suppose to put my lift on this thursday and he said that it should work out fine. I have read around the web and I have read that it will and wont work. So Im nervous for thursday to roll around. Any advice on this topic? The wheels are 20x8.5 with a 35mm offset and 6x135mm not sure what that part is. But anyways please help me out because I really want this to work!!!

The offset is what may cause issues. A +35mm offset is pretty much a factory offset. With a 12.5" wide tire the tire will probably rub on the knuckle or on your chassis when you're at full turn. Also the wheel will stick in the fender like a factory wheel. It's not the look I like when lifting a truck, but everyone likes different things. IMO on a lifted truck a - offset wheel looks much better.

you need to return those wheels and get a lower offset and wider rims, they will rub terribly on the control arm when turning, especially with the Toyo M/t tires.

plus, with a 6" lift and 35's you definitely want a low or negative offset.

If you want the rockstars then yes, you need the 20x10 with - offset. Otherwise you don't actually need a 10" wide wheel, just something much lower +35 offset.

agreed.. the offset is the issue. i would also go with the wider wheel but it's not necessary.

if you are stuck with the wheels then you could always use spacers to make them fit but they are not recommended
