If I go to 16" wheels...??

Well I'm currently running 285/70 BFG M/Ts on 17" wheels. My question is, if I drop to a 16" wheel, what size tire should I get to match the 33" of the 285?

285/75/16 is about 32.78 inches in diameter.

What truck do you have? if it's a 2004-up new body, then 16s won't fit.

It's an '01. The cheaper tires are just really tempting. I'm not sure what the wheels actually look like though. My brother may get them thrown in if he buys a Ranger from this guy. He said they're chrome so I assume they are aftermarket wheels.

you got a F150 or F250? just confused by the name beast7.3

either way 285/75/16's look nice, even a slightly wider tire would fit ok.

I have an F-150 but rock a few powerstrokes as well. One 250 one 350. Both with the all-powerful 7.3 Powerstroke. I love those engines.

Im drivin a 99 F250 Powerstroke since my truck is under construction. the 7.3 is a great motor, its all stock except intake and exhaust. It has some 285/75/16 BFG TA KO's that came off my F150 when i lifted it.

I drive an F450 with the 6.0 for work and its a POS. only thing i like about it is it can turn on a dime, i pull u turns in it with 500+ gallons of liquid and stay in one lane. But its in the shop multiple times a month.

Im putting a Cummins 3.9L in my F150 next year, should be a nice swap.
