I'm soon going to be in the market for new tires. Possibly the Goodyear DuraTrac. How far will the 295/65/18's stick out under the fender well? They will be mounted on stock FX4 rims for now. Is that the tallest 18" they come in?

 

They will not stick out to much farther than your stock tires since your not changing wheel size. They also make a 325/65-18 which is equal to 34.6" which is the same height as my 315/70-17's you should be able to fit them on your stockers with a 2.5" leveling kit. I ordered mine from tirerack.com cheapest place I could find them.

 

I like the height at 34.6, but the width seems a little too much for the stock wheel. That's around 12.5 right? I have a 2" leveling kit on, which should give it the clearance that's needed. Something else to think about.

 

What size do you have now? 275/65-18's? The 295's will be 20mm wider so they will only stick out 10mm farther than a 275. A 295/65-18 is basically a 34x12.00-18 tire.

Yea the 325's will probably be to wide the tread width is 13" and fits a 9-11" wheel width, just check the specs on the tires here is the link

Right now I'm running 275/65/18's. So the 295's would be around 2" taller and roughly 3/4 of an inch wider than what I have now?
