Im thinking about changing the brakes when I get the Harley truck and was wondering if anyone is running the Baer brakes or cross drilled rotors. How do you like it and what were your costs? Have there been any problems?

I am running the Wilwood kit on my 07 Harley and am very pleased with it. I heard the Baer kit has issues with the calipers clearing the wheel face and you have to run atleast a +25 offset wheel with it on the F-150's.

6 piston caliper, 16 inch S&D rotors, SS brake lines...

 

How much did it cost ya? After i posted this i looked at baer and holy cow thats alot of $ for brakes!

 

I think there was a person here (Mean Gene??) that ran the Baer system and had multiple issues with them. I recall he went through at least 2 or 3 sets. For as expensive as they are, you would expect to not have any problems. I have been more than happy with my Power Slot Cryo rotors and Car Quest pads.

 

those wilwoods are sexy!! what did they set you back?

 

Sexy? YES! I'm sure they set him back a nice chunk of change!!!! Willing to say minimum 1,500.
