Which Brake Pads/Rotors
Ok so my truck just hit 45k on it and i still have the factory brake pads and rotors on it. Truck has been lifted every since coming out of Ford brand new. Im currently running 37s and possibly moving up too 40s. My Front brake pads have never been changed and the rotors have never been turned. The rear just got new brake pads and the rotors were turned so what should i do?
Option 1: Get Front Brake Pads And Turn Rotors
Option 2: Get Front New Pads/Rotors And Leave The Rear Alone For Now
Option 3: Replace All Four With New Pads/Rotors
Pads:
Last Long With 37-40 Tires
Wont Create As Much Brake Dust
Not Wear Rotors As Fast
Not As Much Heat
Prices?
Rotors: ( No idea where to even start )
Last Long With 37-40 Tires
For Mainly Road Use But Occasional Off Roading
Prices?

I doubt you need to replace your rotors with only 45K? I would just have them turned. I have the wagner thermoquiet ceramic pads and love them. I tow alot so the ceramic was a good choice for me. The ceramic produce less heat but does wear the rotor slightly more. They have no brake dust at all. I have heard that the non ceramic wagner TQ is just as good brake dust wise. Best I can remember mine ran me about $65 for the front.

I'm running the Powerslot and Hawk LTS as well, just on OEM 20's though. I don't have as much mileage on mine but so far I've been happy. No squeaking, less dust and a bit more bite. I also went with Russell stainless steel lines, that firmed up the pedal a bit. Mine too were about $500 for all four corners not including the lines.

you probably do not need rotors at 45k unless your pads are so worn down they have grooved your rotors.
you shouldnt have to turn them either.
i would not turn rotors, it makes them thinner, which makes them more vulnerable to warping.
you should be fine with just pads, but if you have the cash new rotors are always a welcome seat for those new pads to sit on.
ceramic brake pads are designed to not give off brake dust.
as far as brands, you could spend a ton on brand names, or just get the duralast or valuecraft from autozone in ceramic pads, and they should even have slotted rotors. keep in mind tho... slotted rotors, although they do shed heat off the pads more than unslotted rotors, are overkill for most applications, but your rolling on oversize tires... so i would shell out the extra dough.
EDIT
just re-read and saw you already have new rotors/pads on the back.
do the same for the front, and get slotted/ceamic.
if you did regular rotors and pads on teh back, then in another 40k youll get to check both the front and back to see how much better the slotted/ceramic held up.
