So How Much We Talkin' Here??

MPG that is......if i were to put some nice dub dueces (22's) or some 24's on my truck, how much MPG am i losing.....i drive it all across my state to different job sites so i dont wanna sacrifice too much...thanks

That really depends on the tires you choose... low profile, extra wide, and weight will play the major role in mpg. Large wheels by themselves are only part of the equation...

RIght. A lot depends on how much difference in width and height there is between the OEM tires and the new one. I didn't notice much of a change at all (maybe 1 MPG) on my Expy, but my 22's are only an inch taller than my OEM 265/70-17's.

FWIW I have a screw w/22's and 305/40R-22 and 12k miles, I have an Edge Evo tuner on level 2 all else is stock and I just filled up today, a 60/40 mix of hwy and city, I went 400 miles and I put 27 gals in my tank or 15mpg overall which I don't think is too bad for this pig and the way I drive: hwy @ 75-80, w/air on all the time.
