295/70/18 Nitto TG's will they rub on leveld F150?

Hi guys,

I am debating between a few tire sizes for my Pro Comp 7005 rims that are going on my 2009 F150 FX4. I wanted to check if a 295/70/18 (34.41x11.77) would rub at all? I am also installing the 2" AS leveling kit that is burning a hole on my desk.

Also, if anybody is running this tire setup please post pics.

Thanks!

Hey there- I'm running 305/70/R17 Nitto TGs on my 01' FX4 with 2-inch leveling (torsion+blocks) and have had no problems.....well, there's always problems but not any related to tire rubbing anyway!

Hmm thats almost equivelant to a 305/65/18 BFG A/T but at a much better price! I may drop to a 17 for that size. Ugh.... back to the drawing board.

It will depend on the width and BS of the wheel.

Hard to remember every member. It will be tight because of the height of the tire, but I think they will fit. Info is limited on the 09's but I think clearance is about the same or a little better than the 04-08's.

Ok cool thanks! I didn't mean it that way about remembering lol. Sorry it came out that way.

Maybe instead of me making a bunch of tire size threads can you let me know if any of the below sizes will not fit or need trimming? I am debating between all of the sizes lol.

All Nitto Terra Grappler tires:

295/70/18

305/60/18

325/60/18

325/65/18

All on the 7005 rim with a 2" AS leveled out 2009 F150 FX4.

Thanks!!

No problem man. I think you will be fine with the 295/70-18, 305/60-18 or 325/60-18 with minor trimming at the most.

Yes, but as always, it depends on the wheel you use. A lot of people run 325/60-18's using 18x9 inch wheels with 5 inches of backspacing. If you use a wider wheel or one with less backspacing you will probably have to do a little trimming.

Ok so now I just need to decide which of these three to get lol. All are within 10-20 bucks of each other.

I'd go with the 305/60-18's (33x12.50). A 325mm wide tire is a little too wide for the OEM 18x7.5 inch wheels.
