Yes it will but depending on how you drive it you can make up for it. anytime you go up in tire size you run the risk of loosing gas mileage. i went form 31's to 32.7's (285/75R16) and i lost about 1 mpg as long as i dont drive it like i stole it

Yup... its cuz of the fact that your pushing more rubber around and heavier so it takes more to do the same you did with stock tires.

i got about 16.5 MPG on the first tank after doing the "Gotts" and K&N drop in then i got the 33"s and went to 14 for the trip to college station (cuz i average 85) and then back to 15 on last tank.

its mostly about the weight difference and has to do with more torque required with a bigger tire. it comes down to physics

The distance is negligible compared to the added weight.

Increased tire weight, tire resistance do to larger width, higher truck air resistance all contribute to using more power to do the same work. This means more gas and lower mpg...

Do you have pics of your current setup?

Like others have said, and from my extensive research on this subject, I'd say you'd lose .5-1mpg if your driving habits don't change.

Not sure if it would make a diff or not. The .5-1mpg I'm refering to is from stock (255's) to 285's, thats what guys are telling me.

The CAI on the 3v 5.4's need a tuner to make the motor run right. They lean out with just a CAI and can cause catastropic failures. I wouldn't suggest it unless you have a tuner/get a tuner with it.

I put a K&N drop in, in my truck. Soley because I got a huge discount and its reusable. It did 'feel' like there was a bit more throttle response, but MPG didn't change til I did the exhaust, then it went up a solid 1.5mpg. This is over about 5000 miles of driving since then.

Its a truck, MPG is always going to be low/suck! HAHAHA
