Propper Size Tires / Rims [05' F150 XLT]

I'm just curious as to what size tires (AxBxC) on which size rims? Someone said 33xBxC, but I was curious as to what size rims are ideal for my truck? It's a 4x2 and I'm going to level it out, and probably drop it just a tad.

I'd go with a 305/40-22 on a 22x9.5 inch wide wheel with 6.5 to 7 inches of backspacing.

i agree 100%, 20s are just too small unless it was 4x4, 22s fill up the fender gap nicely, even without being lowered, but when lowered they look 100000000000000x better

I would definitely reccomend the 305/4022 on a 22x9 rim or 305/5020 on the 20x9 or 20x8.5

Yeah if you're gonna drop it go with the 22s and the tire wandell said. I'm not a big fan of lowered trucks but I can appreciate them, and they definitely look great with 22s anything bigger IMO would look dumb but 22s would be sweet
