35/13.50/17???

i have a 2000 f150 lariat 4wd. i was told i could fit 35/12.50/17 on my truck with a 3 inch body lift. i was lookin around and really wanted to get 35/13.50/17. would these tires fit with a 3 inch body lift? i know if they did fit i would have to do some trimming. how much trimming? if not how big of a lift would i have to go to fit 13.50's? thank you!!

You can fit the 35/12.40R17s with some rubbing at full steering lock and only on the stock wheels. Getting a different wheel requires the body lift. As for the 13.50s, you would get more rubbing for sure and have to do some triming of the lower valence with both tires.

If you are still running the 7.5" wide factory wheels the 13.50 are going to be too wide for them, you will need to go to an aftermarket wider rim. At that point in time you may still run into some rubbing issues. You may want to stick with the 12.50.
