1 1/2" leveling kit anyone?

I've got a 09 F150 Supercab and I am thinking about a tire upgrade, I ran BFGoodrich AT KO's on my old truck and they were great. Just looking for a slight lift and the 1 1/2" seems like the look I'm going for, just wondering if anyone has this lift and what is the max tire size without any rubbing issues. Also I will be using the factory XLT trims.

Mine will be on a week from today.

I'm thinking a 33" tire is likely the biggest you can use with the 1.5" kit.

I'd suggest the Autospring leveling kits. Personally, I'd stick with a 33 inch tire (285/70-17 285/65-18).

Yeah that is about the size I was thinking Wandell, I like the look of the 35's but my offroad will be limited to the beach every now and then, snow drifts and woodroads, so I think I'll just stick with the 33's for the everyday driver.
MXZeatr, send me a picture whenever you get yours installed, I'd like to see the stance.
Won't be doing any mods for a little bit, still have to talk to my dealer and see what their attitude is towards any lifts, larger tires, or tuners. Truck only has 10000kms on it right now so I don't want to mess with my warrenty.

I talked to my dealer. My truck has 40k but is under warrenty til 100k. They said they don't mind leveling kits and 33" tires. They've never voided a warranty because of it he said. So....I didn't ask about a tuner, but if you had a tuner, and returned it to the stock tune before going to the dealer with the truck, I doubt they'd have any issues or even be able to tell?

You talked about a 1.5 " leveling kit... I have a 2" kit and I have Toyo Open Country MT 34/11.50 R17s installed... I have had no rubbing and I have not had to do any trimming...

Here is the pic you requested. Its a crappy cell phone pic compared to the before pic taken with my good digicam, but I have no camera until later today. Still stock tires. Right after it was done the truck sat dead level, but I think it likely settled a bit driving home and that. I'll measure again today.

Took me 1.5hrs to do the leveling kit AND front brakes. Piece of cake!

I was going to suggest not to do the 1.5 level kit but I guess I'm a tad late. I had a 1.5" level kit on my truck from Summit Racing and ended up taking it off because it didn't really come close to leveling it out. Then I went w/the 2" AS. I thought it looked much better.

You can definitely see the difference though with your 1.5 lift over the stock. Looks better

Well with not wanting to do anything to the rear of the truck I wasn't about to do anything over a 1.5" kit. The truck in that pic above was almost dead nuts level. Today the tires went on and the alignment was done. Its 1" difference from the back to the front. So with my 700lb quad in the back it will sag its 1.5" and still not look too 'saggy' I also tow a fair amount, and didn't want to have to add a leaf, or air bags. I think the truck looks just fine. The rear is 1.5" higher then stock, and the front is nearly 3.5" higher then stock.
