Those with Pro Comp 7005'/9005's

I'm looking to get a set of 20x9.5 7005's and I have a question. Can the "rivets" be removed from the rims or do you have to mask them if you want to paint/powder coat them?

Also, can you post pics of your truck with them?

Anyone know of a dealer that has these in stock, I have been told 8-10 weeks!

i never tried removing the rivets , but i have tried painting them , i even sanded them, but the paint kept coming off.

i kinda like the chrome rivets , goes nicely with chrome lugs.

best bet would be to remove them and like you said have them powder coated , if they are removable lol

I've never tried removing them. But that is one reason that I bought these wheels. If they ever start looking crappy they can just be repainted with some flat black and look good as new!

My gallery is linked below by my sig.

Thanks for the replies! What are the heads on them? Are they rivets or an Allen head?

I really want these for my truck and don't want to wait 8-10 weeks!

I picked up a used set of 20X9.5s today and the bolts around the perimeter can indeed be removed. Not sure about the thread size but they are only about 5mm long. Use a 3/16" allen head to remove them.
