WOW!! I don't remember reading any of those reviews, lol!! I bought mine because a contractor who shops at my store has them on all his work trucks which are chevy 2500's and he gets 40-50,000 on every set and you can imagine how well they are cared for. I dont blame you though, if I read a reivew that said that I wouldn't buy them either.
The toyo mt's I had were great. I hear very good things on the cooper zeons. The silent armors seem good, but my experience with every good tire I've ever had was horrible so I wouldn't take those if you gave them to me.

I have the Cooper Zeons. They have been good so far. As for the TG's I have never heard that bad of a review. I no people who have gotten 40-60k on them. Are you sure you weren't reading reviews on the mud grapplers?

I'll throw another hat in the Silent Armor bin. I had them on my '05 and loved them. Had 40,000 miles on them when I traded the truck and they still had plenty of tread left. These are not your run of the mill RT/S, far superior to those. I was torn between the Goodrich KO and the Silent Armor when I purchased as both had very good reviews. What sold me was that the Silent Armor claimed very little noise on the highway ala Kevlar in the tire and hence the name "Silent Armor". Tire indeed is very quiet for what it is. Very good traction on wet roads and snow. I'm most likely going to be putting them on my '09 as well.

yeah ill have to say i hated my terra grappler. they didn't do great off road at all and one of mine blew out pretty quick and my friend has had two blow outs with his. mine and both of my friends had fairly large chunks of rubber missing out of them. now i have toyo m/ts and cant complain.

You need to upload pictures to your album on this forum or some other file sharing site. Then, press the yellow button above the message window that looks like a mountain with a sun. Copy the picture's URL into the window that pops up and press OK.

I always use the preview post option to make sure the picture displays correctly, then submit the reply.
