Tire Pressure Question

Tire Pressure Question

I have LT295/75 17's and i had a question on tire pressure. The tires are load range D with a max psi of 65. I have been currently running them at 38-40, should i bump it up a little? A guy i work with said he runs his tires at 50 (almost the exact same tire).

I would try 42 to 44psi and see how they ride. The more air the more miles per gallon you get on the highway. Just check for abnormal wear patterns in the center of the tires. I always run that amount in my tires and have had good luck.

38-40 is a bit low. Personally I would run them at 45.
