I am about to get a 2.5" leveling kit for the truck since I am about to get new tires and I want to fit bigger ones on the stock wheels. I am thinking 285/70/17?

 

You can fit a 35x12.50 using the OEM wheels with only minor rubbing on the control arms at full steering lock.

 

I have a 2.5 leveling kit and a aal in the rear and i was able to fit 35 12.50 on my stock rims. Like wandell said minor rubbing at full lock.

 

You may also want to check out the 295x70x17 or 305x70x17's also, these are close to 34 inches tall.

 

I have a 2" leveling kit... I am running 34" Toyo Open Country MTs 34/11.50 R17. No trimming and no rubbing... This image shows the difference between **** Cepek 265/70 R17s and the Toyos...



The Toyos are 34.1"s tall and 11.6"s wide...
