O/R Wheels for ON/R Truck
I've been looking for a nice set of wheels and have come to realize that street truck wheels are absolutely ugly. It seems that the only good looking wheels for trucks are off road wheels with street tires. So far I'm leaning towards the XD Badlands 20x9, but have no idea about all the other specs that I need to worry about like back spacing and offset and blah blah blah. Anyone want to educate another ignorant wheel shopper?
Here's a picture of the wheels that I think would look pretty good.

Idk, i think its gonna be fun for you to find that wheel in the specs youll need for a street truck.
Do you plan on going lower?
I belive your stock rim is 8 inches wide and has 5.5 inches of backspacing
Wheels are by no means my strong point, but I think youll want something that is close to stock specs as to keep the wheel inside the wheel well.

Like blacked out said, finding a wheel with the right backspacing may be an issue. Most off road style wheels have less backspacing for a more aggressive stance. For instance, my 22x9.5's have 6.7 inches of bs while most off road wheels in that size would only have about 5 inches of bs. With a 9 inch wide wheel, I think you would want 6 to 6.5 inches of bs so street tires will be more tucked rather than sticking out of the wheelwells.

Not un-answerable. I just went through the same thing and Wandell helped out a lot. I ordered the Boss 330’s. They will be here tomorrow. I, like you, thought most street rims looked stupid until I found the 330. I will have pics up tomorrow. I would wait till Wandell chimes in. He will know the answer to your questions. I have the 2” lowering shackle in back already and am looking into a 2/4 as well. Good luck with it, I hope the Badlands work out for you.
I suspect the badlands will stick out too far but Wandell will know for sure. This was the problem I ran into with the offroad wheels and street tires.

Well from the information yall have given me, I think the Badlands are out. I did find that these KMC Slide wheels offer a greater backspacing and look slicker, and dare I say, better looking than the Badlands did.

And now we come to "offset". What is it and what would be the correct offset for these NBS trucks?

BACKSPACING
This is a measurement from the mounting point of the wheel to the outer edge of the backside of the wheel.
OFFSET
This is a measurement of the mounting points' position in relation to the wheels imaginary centerline usually measured in MM.
For example a +30 wheels mounting pad is 30 mm forward (toward the face of the wheel) from its centerline.
Further details. An offset measurement will tell you NOTHING if you dont know the wheels width.
For example a 20X9.5 wheel with a +30 offset will NOT have the same backspacing as a 20X10 wheel with the same +30 offset.
the 10 wide wheel will have a Greater backspacing by a 1/4 inch
