changing tires on f150 2000

i cant get the tires to come loose could they be rusted? im afraid to beat it apart if there is some trick...i guess i mean the wheels trying to do the brakes in front

im trying to get the wheels off to get at the brake pads to change them

If you have the OEM wheels, they are hubcentric, meaning the hole in the center fits tightly over a raised portion on the hub. They will commonly corrode and stick. Carefully secure the truck on jackstands and kick the tire, or stike it with a hammer to break it loose. Just be sure not to smack the wheel with a hammer or something and damage it.
Just an idea, but putting a little anti-seize on the wheel/hub before reinstalling it may prevent this.
