Moto Metal 951 and Toyo 35x12.5x18

I'm thinking about buying a set of Toyo's and Moto 951's.

How much rubbing do you think I will have before I put my 6inch lift on.
I'm not sure of the wheel specs. The guy said they are 18x10 but I could only find 18x9.
I have attached pics to show the backspacing and offset.
I have a 05 Fx4 with 2inch level kit now.

also what would you pay for this set? he says 75% left on tread. and the wheels have some pitting and one has a 2 scratches.
They are alum. Rims correct. so they want rust..?

Complete picture, spots are water spots from wash job..

complete picture

Tread

Scratch

Pitting

thanks

They are chrome plated aluminum. It's the chrome that is rusting, not the aluminum. I agree, they are probably 18x9's. However, the MM's were available with 3 different backspacing options for your truck, 4.5 inches, 5.71 and 6.1. It's hard to tell how much lip those have in the pick but they appear to be either the model with 4.5 or 5.7 inches of bs. If they had 6.1 inches of bs, you may have been able to run them with some rubbing before your lift is installed.

they look to have a decent lip on them , and also being paired with a set of 35/12.5R18 toyo mt's, im gunna say they are the 4.5 bs version

possibly 5.71 , i highly doubt the 6.18

how much is he asking for them ?

with a leveling kit your gunna rub no matter what backspacing. with the 5.71 not as much , but if they are the 4.5 , id wait till you got a lift

he is asking $1400.
We are working a trade $1k and my Fx4 stockers.
Just checking to see if that is too much..

I don't care if they rub some before I install the lift, I just wanted to make sure that I could drive it and not damage anything.. and that I would be able to drive normal, just being careful on sharp turns.
when we swap, I'll be riding these home until I get the lift on.. which might be another week of riding around town, until I can get the lift on.

1k + stockers sounds pretty good. if theres 75% tread on those tires, you can expect atleast another 30k if they were maintained properly .

only thing i could see you damaging is you might take off the front lower valence on a turn/incline or you might mess up your fender flare , b/c it will rub in the lower rear where the fender flare attaches to the fender and it will rub on the valence.

it might sound like being over protective , but i might wanna take off the front valence before you pick them up

I had toyo mt's and going by the pic you presented they are worn more to like 50%, and the wheels look decent but with the chips you better make sure you never get them near any road salt because you will get salt under the chrome and it will start peeling and corroding.

check out ebay store rimzone. they have very good deal on toyos mt's and wheels.

1k with your stockers is a decent price but I wouldn't pay him 1400.00, you may as well go the little extra for a decent set new.
