Cooper Discoverer ATR

Hi all,
I'm looking at getting new tires and the local tire dealer said these are a very good AT tire. There isn't many reviews on them. Has anyone ever used these tires and how did they hold up? I can get them for $106 each and Cooper is giving a $75 rebate if you buy 4 of them.

Also, I have a 2001 Ford F150 xlt supercab 4X4 that is stock. What would the biggest tire I could put on it without rubbing or having to cut anything? The tires on it now are 255/70-16.

Thanks for any help!

I just put on a set of Cooper AT/R tires on my truck. They ride great, nice tread pattern. My wife has a set on her SUV with about 33,000 miles & lots of tread left. (I rotate every 6,000 miles) Consumer Reports rated these tires (63) points just below the Nitto TG’s with (65). Go for it, the price is right! Maybe size 265~

i loved my coopers, i had the stock ones that come with these fords and i had to use
4wd alot of times out in the feilds in the winter, these coopers grab real nice didnt need 4wd in places i did before. they are great on the highway also quiet for an agressive tire.

My brothers truck has them in 285/75/16, very very nice tire, pretty aggressive looking, grips amazingly well.

Thanks for the replies. I think I'm going to go with them.

Darren- Is your brothers truck stock or does it have a lift? 285/75-16 would be a nice size tire. I just don't want it rubbing or anything.

Its a stock suspension 4wd F250. Rubs not at all, but being a Super Duty it does have good height, though 285s will fit in a half ton without rubbing too ( 4wd ). The performance with them is very nice though.
