80,000 so far and I don't drive easy. You use the brakes in the DFW area.

No, I had a front wheel bearing go out at 41,000 miles. The rotor looked perfect, just a bad bearing. I replaced both front rotors, so now have 50,000 on them and they still look great. I went with raybestos rotors, they're heavier than the OEM. I too like Motorcraft for most things, unless I can see an obvious improvement. Brakes are an area where I see that. The OEM rotors tend to warp and are pretty thin.

A slight hum as I went down the road, coming from the front. When I would go into a curve, got louder and could feel a slight vibration in the steering. I thought it was the driver's side, the dealer diagnosed it as the passenger side. They wanted $450 to replace it. I found one at a local parts store for $150 and took about an hour to change it out. It was not the bad one. It was the driver's side. So I did both sides for $300, and kept the good one as a spare. I wanted them to match anyway. Had they changed the wrong one, I guess they would have charged me a total of $900.

Also do they come with the grease for the slide pins?

I too got the thermoquiets after the tiring effects of scrubing wheels twice a week. Wagner Thermoquiets FTW!

Oh yeah I changed to the wagners about 16,500 and my factory pads were more than 3/4 way wore down.

That actually sounds like the number, but can't remember for sure. If it is, that's a real bargin. I paid $48 for the fronts and $43 for the rears.

Mine did not. I picked that up at the parts store. A small packet at the counter. The pads have a backing on them, so you dont use the dampner that you might use on other pads. The blue stuff.
