Never, never, ever lift a truck to fit a street tire/wheel package. You don't want to wind up with a F-150 donk. A very small number of people like that look but the majority of the world laughs at it. I'd suggest lowering the rear with lowering shackles and go with a set of 24's or 26's. I'm not sure if you can fit 28's, but you probably can. Just be sure the size you pick looks preportion to your truck. Since you have a Screw, 26's will look fine. Most of the wheel manufacturers these days do a great job with the width and backspacing larger wheels. Just be leary of any wheel with a dual bolt pattern as that is usually a sign that the width/backspacing has been compromised to make it "kinda fit" a couple different vehicle. I have a friend that easily fit 24's on his stock Escalade and recently moved up to 26's, all at stock height. They look great and don't rub or hang outside the wheelwells.

Well said. I was surprised to see wandell use the word "donk".

Dude do the 28". It doesn't matter if its a donk or not. You'd be the first one on the board to do them.

28's but don't raise it. Street scene is a lowered atmoshpere. Look on cardomain and see what the guys with 28's are doing there. Good luck you can't have a donk anyway. It isn't a caprice. These guys throw slang around so loosly

For an '09 probably, I recall a 04 - 05 with 30"s last year.

There was a small pic in a recent issue of Truckin' Magazine of a new Chevy at a truck show. It was actually laying frame on 28's. They need to do a feature on it.
