Offset

I drive a 2001 supercrew and im gonna put 22"s on it in the future, the wheels im looking at have a offset of 20 is this within the range it should be or no? Thanks in advance.

Impossible to answer without knowing the width of the wheels.

I'm not that familar with street fitments on the 97-03 4x2's. I'd suggest going to Eagle Alloy's website and looking at their wheels for your truck. They usually do an excellent job with the backspacing/offset on their larger street style wheels.
