02 16 " wheel tire opt.

i have a 2002 supercab 4x4 with 265/70-16 tire. i was wondering if 285/75-16 would fit or if anyone knows if i can go bigger without lifting. thank you..

Yes, they will fit easily. I think the best looking combo on a stock 97-03 4x4 is a 305/70-16 (33x12.50) on a 16x10 inch wheel with 4.5 inches of backspacing. You will have to trim a little plastic off the front bumper's lower valance if you run this combo.

What wandell said 33's on 16x10's, which is what my truck has right now, looks about the best

I have 295/75/16 on my truck and like wandell said, you might need to trim a lit piece of the lower valance.

that sounds good guys.....any adive on the best tire for the money...i need a tire for mostly road but when i need it off road they have to perform....such as either hunting or pulling cattle out of wet pastures.

I'd recommend a quality all terrian radial like the BFG AT KO, Nitto Terra Grappler, Toyo AT, Pro Comp Xtreme AT, Mickey Thompson ATZ or **** Cepek FC II.
