Exclamation Power Steering Fluke

Gonna take a chance and post this in the wheel forum, I just finished installing a 6" Fabtech lift and 35' tires on my 08 fx4, i have about 16800 miles on the truck and after i got an alignment done today i took it out for some dirt time. Everything had been going great until i brought the rear end around a few times an was bombin around and when i went to stop the steering got tough i shut the truck down and restarted it and there was no assistance with the steering when the truck was at an idle but as soon as i brought the rpm's up it would resume no problem. I continued to drive around and it was not noticeable during routine driving. Brought the truck home and when i parked it i turned the wheel and it turned perfect. There's no fluid loss, the level is fine the fluid is in great shape. The pump is not staining or making any noise even when it was acting up, is this just a fluke a air pocket in the line? Has anyone else encountered this? I am still getting used to the feel of the heavy 35's so I guess time will tell if it happens again then i will start exploring some options, any input would be greatly appreciated
