33/12.50/17 ProComp All Terrain or Extreme AT?

Is anybody running either one of these tires on the stock 17" XLT Rims? I can't decide which way to go, the truck spends most of the time on the road, occasionally on the beach so I want as much width as I can fit. I have a 2004 XLT Supercrew (built date 10/03) with 2" AS spacers. I really like the look of the Xtreme AT's but don't want anything that makes alot of noise on the road. Haven't seen any pictures of the All Terrains on the stock wheels. Also want to make sure I don't have any issues with the tires fitting, looks like it might be real close with the upper suspension arm?

Thanks for the help!

The original Pro COmp AT's received mixed reviews. The Xtreme AT is a much better tire.

Thanks Wandell - thats the kind of feedback I was hoping for. Do you think I will have any problems with running 305/65/17s on the stock wheels?

I think you will be fine. Even though most manufacturers recommend a 8 to 10 inch wide wheel for 12.50 inch/305 mm wide tires, many member have run them on the OEM 7.5 inch wheels with no problems at all. Just don't run the air pressure to high because that can cause the center portion of the tread to wear quicker.

Sounds good to me - I really appreciate your help! I need to get them ordered before the sale ends! I'll try to post pictures once I get them installed.
